Compliance is built into the data path
The rules on this page run before a call connects — not as a suggestion in a prompt. If a call would violate consent, quiet hours, frequency, or geography, the platform refuses to place it, and the agent's script cannot remove a required disclosure or ignore an opt-out.
Lines an agent can never cross
Regardless of how an agent is configured or prompted, it is categorically prohibited from doing any of the following. These limits are enforced by the platform, not left to the model.
- Threaten, intimidate, or coerce a recipient
- Impersonate a government agency, court, or law-enforcement officer
- Make false or misleading legal, financial, or debt claims
- Conceal or deny that the caller is an AI
- Collect passwords, one-time codes, or full card numbers
- Request Social Security numbers or other sensitive identifiers
Guardrails that run before every call
Each control is evaluated at preflight and again at the moment of dialing. Defaults shown here can be tightened per workspace.
Consent required
Every production contact must have documented consent before a call can be placed. No consent, no call.
AI disclosure — always
Each call opens by identifying itself as an automated AI assistant calling on behalf of your named organization. The disclosure cannot be removed from the script.
Recording disclosure
When a call is recorded, the recipient is told at the start, in line with the requirements of their jurisdiction.
Do-not-call controls
Numbers on your do-not-call list are suppressed automatically and re-checked at the moment of dialing.
Opt-out enforcement
Instant · permanentOpt-out phrases are honored on the spot — the agent confirms, ends the call, and suppresses all future automated calls from your organization.
Quiet hours
Default 9am–8pmCalls are held outside local calling hours, evaluated in the recipient's own timezone rather than yours.
Call frequency limits
Default 1/day · 3/7 daysPer-recipient caps prevent repeat dialing. Attempts beyond the limit are blocked at preflight, not silently queued.
Geographic restrictions
Default: USCalls are limited to the countries you explicitly allow. Numbers outside that list are refused before dialing.
Emergency-number blocking
Emergency and special-service numbers are permanently blocked and can never be dialed by an agent.
Immutable audit logs
Every call, compliance decision, and configuration change is written to an append-only log you can review and export.
Data retention
ConfigurableRecording and transcript retention windows are set per workspace, with automatic deletion once they lapse.
Abuse reporting & suspension
Recipients and reviewers can report abuse. Confirmed violations trigger automatic campaign suspension and review.
Compliance you can start with, not bolt on later
Create your first agent in test mode and see the guardrails in action — no real calls until you are ready.
